Jared D. Peterson

Jared Peterson focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, debtor/creditor law, and other commercial litigation.  In addition, he also serves as an Assistant Brown County Attorney.

Mr. Peterson graduated from
Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, cum laude, in 1996.  Mr. Peterson graduated from William Mitchell College of Law with a Juris Doctor Degree in 1999.  While attending William Mitchell College of Law he was on the Dean's List.

Mr. Peterson was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar and the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota in 1999.  In 2007 he was admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.  Mr. Peterson is a Certified Alternative Dispute Resolution Neutral by the Minnesota Supreme Court.

Mr. Peterson is a member of the Ninth Judicial District and
Minnesota State Bar Associations.  He is an investigator for the Ninth District Ethics Committee, and also serves on the Board of Directors for several community organizations.
