Bob Hinnenthal practices in the areas of real estate, estate planning, probate and
cooperative law. He serves as legal counsel for the Brown County Rural Electrical
Association, a rural electric utility cooperative represented by the law firm
since 1937. Mr. Hinnenthal also serves as the court appointed Examiner of Titles
for Brown County and as a member of the Board of Directors of Citizens Bank of New Ulm. Mr. Hinnenthal is a member of the Brown County, Ninth Judicial District, and Minnesota
State Bar Associations. Mr. Hinnenthal was born in St. Peter, Minnesota on April 27, 1949. He attended Gustavus Adolphus College and received his Bachelor of Science Degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota in 1971, where he was elected to the Honorary Society of Beta Gamma Sigma. He obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Minnesota in 1975. He was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar in 1975. Mr. Hinnenthal served as an Assistant Brown County Attorney from 1975-1985. Mr. Hinnenthal is active in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Formerly Chairman of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, he now serves on the Board of Control of Martin Luther College, a small liberal arts college which trains teachers and pre-seminary students.
