
Jeremy Berg Attorney at Law |

Jeremy Berg has been with the firm since 2006. In addition to maintaining a
general practice of law, Mr. Berg particularly enjoys working with clients in
the areas of real estate law, estate planning, probate law, elder law, business
law, agricultural law, and municipal law. He has been invited to make estate planning
presentations to various community groups and business clientele.
Mr. Berg also serves as an Assistant Brown County Attorney and Assistant Hanska
City Attorney. He is a member of the Ninth District Bar Association and the Minnesota
State Bar Association. Mr. Berg was born and raised in Odin, Minnesota and has deep roots in the area. He graduated from South Dakota State University with Honors and, after a stint working in health care, returned to school. Mr. Berg graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law as a Thomas Sterling Honor Society graduate. While in Law School, Mr. Berg served as an Editor and Staff Writer for the South Dakota Law Review and as a Graduate Assistant to Prof. Sheryl Etling, Legal Writing instructor. Mr. Berg was a member of the Dean’s List and the recipient of the Everett Bogue and George Mickelson Scholarships, the Roger and Claudia Baron Effort Award, and High Grade Awards for his course performance in Legal Research, Torts, Federal Income Tax, Legal Profession and Elderlaw. Mr. Berg is married to his beautiful bride, Tracy, and together they have two daughters. He is active in his local church congregation, synod and church wide, serving on the Board of Missions of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, the Resolutions Committee of the Southwestern Minnesota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and as a member of the ELCA Attorneys Association. In the community, Mr. Berg serves as secretary of the Brown County Chapter of Pheasants Forever, a commissioner of the New Ulm EDA and is a graduate of the Network New Ulm community leadership program.
